RING GROUP
- Go to the PORTAL>USERS>RINGGROUP
. Create an identifiable name and assign it an extension. In the example below, new clients call into a configured number that directs to 504. All of the numbers in the list start ringing except for extension 500. That extension is on a 10-second ring delay. After 30 seconds, which is 20 seconds after extension 500 has had a chance to answer, and 30 seconds for everyone else, this call will be directed to extension 505. Click Add Group to save changes.
- Ring Groups are system users. By default, system users are hidden on the Users screen. "Hide System Users" must be unchecked in order to view the new group.
- Ring Groups can be edited or deleted from this screen. The pencil icon edits the same options shown in step #2 in this article. There are no further configurations. For more advanced options such as creating answering rules
