How to Enable Grandstream Multicast Paging

In order to add the Grandstream Multicast paging, please keep in mind that all the phones have to be configured on the same network.

 

  1. Log into the Manager portal and navigate to the 'Inventory tab'

  1. Click on 'Phone Hardware'

  1. Find the device you would like to enable the multicast paging and click on the little pencil icon.

  1. A pop-up window should appear to make configurations on the device. Then click "Advanced" tab

  1. Under the 'Overrides' section, paste the code below:

#Mutlicast Paging
 P1367="23"
 P1368="0"
 P1469="Test Page"
 P1470="224.0.1.116:5001"

 

You can change the label by replacing the text "Test Page".

NOTE: These overrides are for line key 3 if you would like to add this on another key add 2 to every Pcode for each line key up EX: P1369, P1370, P1471, and P1472 for line key 4

 

6. Once everything is set, press the little arrow pointing up from Save button to 'Save and Resync'. This will reboot the device and it should come back up with the "Test Page" on the soft key button 3.
